He thought he knew how to play.

Good day everyone!!  I recently invited a young man to my 5 Star Basketball Prep  camp to start improving on his skills. He said" no I already know how to play" He eventually came to work out and found that he couldn't perform some drills as well as he thought he could, and that he was doing the others all wrong. He is there learning every week and  has increase his confidence and will increase his playing time where every he plays. Let your skills speak for you 5 Star Basketball Prep can help.      

Personal Attention

Good day everyone!!! I believe that personal attention is something that young players don't get when playing on a team, and good fundamentals  are over looked and in many cases never learned. It could be the difference in sitting on the bench or being in the game at crunch time. Any good coach can tell if a player has had training in 5 minuets or less, and will choose that player first. Who Am I

Good Morning All:

Some may wonder what makes me qualified to teach your son or daughter the fundamentals of basketball. I have been active in the basketball world for over thirty years and I still love it the same today. When I am on the court, it feels like home. Therefore, I am committed to providing children to find that same love in this sport.

Basketball is a contact sport that assists with discipline, respect, hard work and a solid commitment to practice. So, meet me at the L.A. Lee, YMCA Family Center this Friday so that I can work with your child to implement greatness in their life.

Today is a Terrific Tuesday,another day that we've been given get up and grind. So let's think about the benefits of practicing our basketball skills. First, the skills that are current struggles for us on the court will become very easy once we practice on them. Second,thirty minutes per day will help to build stamina and consistency on our skills. What is Basketball

Basketball is a sport that is played by ten or more individuals. However, there are five representatives per team on the court at one time. This sport is known as a skilled sport, evidenced by the passing, dribbling, running and scoring it takes to be a successful basketball player. One major method to become a skilled basketball player is to PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE.
